Herb Pharm prepares their Sage Extract from the leaf of Salvia officinalis plants which are certified organically grown. To assure optimal extraction of Sages bioactive compounds, the leaf is hand-harvested just as the plants are coming into flower, carefully shade-dried to retain its full color & aroma, and then thoroughly extracted.
