Indian Frankincense (Boswellia serrata), highly revered in Ayurvedic medicine for its powerful action on the body, is used in Chinese medicine to move and invigorate the blood. Boswellin® Super is a very concentrated and pure form of this ancient herb. The compounds in Frankincense demonstrate an ability to modulate the inflammatory response system by reducing key mediators of the arachidonic acid cascade.*
Feverfew
Many researchers attribute Feverfew’s properties to the presence of parthenolide, a sesquiterpene lactone which helps to modulate the inflammatory response function process and maintain healthy cells in the body.*
Magnolia Bark
Magnolia Bark, known for its aromatic properties, has been used to support a healthy stress response. InflamAway™ utilizes a Magnolia Bark extract standardized to 50% honokiol, the barks’ most important and well-researched constituent. This compound has recently been shown to inhibit the formation of new blood vessels (anti-angiogenic) in-vivo and in-vitro through a variety of mechanisms such as vascular endothelial growth factor (VEGF) inhibition.*
Andrographis
Andrographis is a Chinese herbal medicine well-known for its potent liver-protective properties. It is very cooling, removes heat and is appropriately named “King of the Bitters”.*
