Thera-B? provides a full-complement of essential B-complex vitamins and related nutrients in high-potency amounts. Inclusion of Metafolin? L-5-methyltetrahydrofolate (L-5-MTHF), a bioactive form of folate, ensures more immediate effects than folic acid on metabolism. As the only form of folate that crosses the blood-brain barrier, L-5-MTHF is especially useful for supporting neurological system requirements for this nutrient. Activated vitamin B12 as methylcobalamin enhances B12 absorption and bioavailability. Extra amounts of biotin to augment its role for nervous system function and glucose metabolism are added to this yeast-free formula.
